The primary purpose of this position is to manage the country Space and Bookings and work closely with the respective Trade’s Space team and MY Sales to achieve the set BSA target of each service, plus other tasks that the Management believes are within the abilities of the Job holder that fit with the Company’s strategies as circumstances dictate.

Job Description:

Work and communicate with all stakeholders in ensuring performance of space utilization against space allocation (BSA) achieves optimal loading of containers.

Coordinate closely with internal and external stakeholders for smooth booking and space arrangements.

Comply to Booking Acceptance Policy and Guidelines and ensure Offshore team, Customer Care team do too. Also support to create DSOP for customer’s special equipment.

Generate a 4-week booking forecast lifting report; highlight reasons to Trade if performance is below or exceed space allocation.

Monitor Offshore’s booking turnaround time and general booking process performance; report and/or escalate errors.

Work closely with the Equipment and Operations team on the Final Loading List. Manage rollover list activities including Special Service Request (SSR)

Coordinate vessels' Terminal Departure Report and reconcile data discrepancy on VGM, BL data or broken routes, if any

Provide ad-hoc support and find resolution to trade-related issues including vessel delays, change of vessels or any problems that arise during the shipping process

Skills / Requirements:

• Sound shipping knowledge
• Knowledgeable in trade and booking processes
• Proficient in English and Google Applications
• Analytical
• Fast and independent
• Knowledge in OPUS system, booking & space processes is an added advantage

Qualification & Experience:

• Diploma/Degree in Marketing or Customer Service Management or a combination of academic and experience
• 1-3 years of experience in shipping and logistics related industry.
• Familiarity with trade and booking processes.
• A quick learner & able to work under pressure
• Strong analytical skills
