Job Description

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and deliver full-stack web applications and software solutions for external clients
• Participate in system design, application development, testing, implementation and technical documentation
• Perform hands-on development for new applications and enhancement of existing systems
• Develop and deploy cloud-native applications using modern technologies and architectures
• Utilize AI coding agents and AI-assisted development tools to accelerate application development, debugging, testing and code refactoring
• Review, validate and optimize AI-generated code to ensure quality, security, performance and maintainability
• Support application deployment, system integration and production implementation
• Perform system maintenance, troubleshooting, debugging and performance improvement
• Work closely with clients and project teams to understand technical requirements and deliver appropriate solutions
• Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance and support to junior developers when required

Requirements

• Higher Diploma or above in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or related disciplines
• Good command of both spoken and written English and Cantonese

• Solid understanding of software development concepts, application architecture and system integration
• Hands-on experience in full-stack web application development
• Proficient in using AI coding agents and AI-assisted development tools for software development
• Able to understand, review, debug, validate and improve AI-generated code independently
• Strong software development fundamentals with the ability to learn and adopt new programming languages, frameworks and technologies with AI assistance
• Practical development experience in one or more programming languages, frameworks or technology stacks
• Able to independently analyze technical requirements and propose appropriate software solutions
• Good analytical, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Self-motivated and passionate about learning and adopting new technologies, frameworks and AI development tools
• Good team player with a positive attitude and strong sense of responsibility

Technical Skills

Experience in one or more of the following technologies would be an advantage:

• Frontend: React.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS
• Backend: Node.js, Express.js, Python, RESTful APIs
• Database: MongoDB and other SQL / NoSQL databases
• Cloud & DevOps: AWS, AWS Lambda, Docker, Terraform, Jenkins
• Mobile Development: Swift, Xcode, Android Studio
• Architecture: Microservices and cloud-native architecture
• Development Tools: Git, Visual Studio Code, Jira and AI-assisted development tools
• Experience with Agile / Scrum development methodology would be an advantage

Candidates are not expected to be proficient in all listed technologies. Strong software development fundamentals and the ability to learn and adopt new technologies with AI-assisted development tools are highly valued.
