Senior Software Engineer (Java & React.js) – Singapore

We are seeking an experienced

Full-Stack Engineer with at least 5years of recent hands-on experience

in designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-level web applications using

Java and React.js

in an Agile development environment.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Design, develop and maintain enterprise-level IT systems and applications.

Participate in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), including system analysis, development, testing and deployment.

Collaborate with Scrum Masters, Product Owners and project teams in an Agile development environment.

Develop and enhance applications based on business and technical requirements.

Troubleshoot system issues, identify root causes and optimise application performance.

Leverage AI tools to support software development and technical solutioning.

Develop test cases, conduct System Integration Testing (SIT), load testing and performance tuning.

Support production deployment, system enhancements and post-implementation activities.

Prepare and maintain technical specifications and system documentation.

Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members.

Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of recent hands-on experience

in software development, preferably in full-stack application development.

Experience in modern application technologies, including:
Backend Development:
Java / Kotlin

Frontend Development:
React.js

Frameworks:
Spring Framework

Database:
PostgreSQL or other relational databases (RDBMS)

Messaging / Integration:
MQ (Message Queuing)

DevOps:
Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI/CD)

Experience in

Agile development methodologies

, including Scrum and Agile Sprint Planning.

Ability to leverage AI tools for software development and technical solutioning.

Good understanding of system design, application integration, troubleshooting, and performance optimisation.

Experience with the following technologies will be advantageous:

Docker

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related fields.

This is a 1-year contract, renewable and convertible to permanent.
