Company Description Prime Gymnastics Club is a leading gymnastics organization in Singapore, known for developing athletes from beginner to elite competitive levels in Men’s and Women’s Artistic Gymnastics. The club has a strong track record of producing gymnasts who are selected for the Singapore Gymnastics National Team and who represent the country at major international competitions such as the SEA Games, Asian Junior Championships, Pacific Rim Championships, and ASEAN School Games. Operated by an elected management committee, parent volunteers, administrative staff, and a highly qualified coaching team, the club offers a wide range of recreational and competitive programs for all ages. Its three-storey facility is fully equipped to support diverse training needs and host one of Singapore’s largest annual gymnastics events, the Prime Gymnastics International Invitational Competition, which attracts local and international participants.

Role Description The MAG Gymnastics High Performance (HP) Coach is a full-time, on-site role based in Singapore. The coach will plan, deliver, and supervise daily training sessions for Men’s Artistic Gymnastics athletes on all apparatus, focusing on technical development, strength and conditioning, skill progression, and routine construction. Responsibilities include designing long-term training plans, preparing athletes for local and international competitions, monitoring performance, and implementing safe training practices in line with club and federation guidelines. The coach will collaborate with other coaches, support staff, and the management committee, provide feedback to athletes and families, and contribute to talent identification and pathway development from lower levels to high performance squads. Additional duties may include assisting at club events, attending competitions as team coach, and participating in ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated expertise in Men’s Artistic Gymnastics coaching, including advanced technical knowledge across all MAG apparatus and high performance program planning.
• Experience in athlete development, covering skill progression, strength and conditioning, safe spotting, injury prevention, and competition preparation for national and international events.
• Strong communication and mentoring abilities, with skill in providing clear feedback, motivating athletes of different ages, and collaborating effectively with families, colleagues, and management.
• Proven capability in organizing training schedules, managing squads, maintaining discipline in the gym, and upholding a safe and inclusive training environment.
• Relevant coaching certifications in gymnastics (MAG), and current first aid/CPR qualifications, or willingness to obtain them within a defined timeframe.
• Prior experience coaching competitive MAG athletes at regional, national, or international level; experience within the Singapore or similar gymnastics system is an advantage.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends for training, camps, and competitions, and commitment to ongoing professional learning.
