Customer Service Associate (Banking)

6 Months Contract 

Central Region

We are seeking customer-focused individuals to support customer onboarding and account opening processes for a leading international bank. This role involves conducting customer verification, collecting KYC documentation, and ensuring applications meet the bank’s verification and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct customer identity verification via recorded telephone calls and face-to-face appointments at bank branches.
  
  
• Collect and verify customer identification documents and KYC supporting information.
  
  
• Review Source of Wealth (SOW) and Source of Funds (SOF) documentation for enhanced due diligence cases.
  
  
• Explain banking requirements clearly and professionally, addressing customer queries and concerns.
  
  
• Submit account applications through internal systems and perform required screening checks.
  
  
• Ensure all verification and documentation processes comply with the bank’s procedures.
  
  

Requirements

• Previous customer service or customer-facing experience preferred.
  
  
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle challenging conversations professionally.
  
  
• Comfortable conducting telephone verification and meeting customers face-to-face.
  
  
• Detail-oriented, organised, and able to handle confidential customer information.
  
  
• Willingness to learn banking procedures, KYC requirements, and internal systems.
  
  
• Banking or financial services experience is an advantage but not mandatory.
  
  

Job Details

• Working Days: Monday to Friday.
  
  
• Work Arrangement: Fully on-site.
  
  
• Training: Approximately 1–2 weeks of structured training.
