Job Description

• Prepare and review project quotations, cost estimates, and tender submissions.
• Prepare Bills of Quantities (BQ) and quantity take-offs from drawings.
• Review construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
• Source and obtain quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Evaluate and compare supplier/subcontractor quotations.
• Prepare cost comparisons and assist in procurement.
• Monitor project costs and budgets throughout the project.
• Prepare progress claims, variation orders, and final accounts.
• Assist with contract administration and payment certification.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, suppliers, subcontractors, and project teams.
• Attend site meetings and site inspections when required.
• Maintain proper records of contracts, costs, claims, and variations.

Requirements

• Diploma / Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Building, Civil Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 1–3 years of relevant experience in construction, renovation, building, civil engineering, or related industries.
• Familiar with quantity take-off, costing, tendering, and contract administration.
• Able to read and understand architectural and structural drawings.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD is an advantage.
• Good analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and well-organized.
• Able to work independently and meet project deadlines.
• Experience with variation claims, progress claims, and final accounts is an advantage.
