Role overview
The Studio Manager runs one FS8 studio end to end: member experience, sales, instructor team and daily operations. FS8 offers Reformer Pilates, Tone and Yoga classes across studios in Singapore and the region (*************).

Front-desk team and studio instructors (full-time and freelance)
Key responsibilities
Sales and revenue
Own the studio's monthly targets for new memberships, class packs, renewals and retail
Convert trial and walk-in leads; follow up on enquiries within 24 hours
Run local partnerships, community events and corporate sessions to grow the member base
Track sales, attendance and retention weekly and act on the gaps
Member experience
Make every visit warm, on time and well run, from check-in to post-class follow-up
Handle feedback, complaints, freezes and cancellations quickly and fairly
Grow retention through onboarding, milestone recognition and member events
Keep reviews and ratings on booking platforms (e.g. ClassPass, Mindbody) high
Team leadership
Hire, train, schedule and coach front-desk staff
Work with instructors on class quality, punctuality and brand standards
Build the weekly class timetable around demand, studio capacity and instructor availability
Run regular team huddles and performance check-ins
Studio operations
Open and close the studio; manage cash, POS and the booking system
Keep Reformer machines and equipment safe, clean and serviced; log maintenance issues
Manage stock, retail and supplies within budget
Uphold health, safety and hygiene standards, including incident reporting
Report weekly to the Area Manager on KPIs, issues and plans
Requirements
Must have
3+ years in boutique fitness, wellness, hospitality or premium retail, with at least 1 year leading a team
Proven record of hitting sales or membership targets
Confident, warm communicator in English; able to handle difficult conversations calmly
Comfortable with booking/CRM systems (e.g. Mindbody), POS and basic Excel or Google Sheets
Able to work weekends, public holidays and split shifts
Nice to have
Pilates, yoga or fitness certification, or a strong personal practice
Experience opening or turning around a studio
Valid First Aid / CPR-AED certification
Additional languages (e.g. Mandarin)
