Job Description : Project Manager (Building, M&E & Civil Works)

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our ongoing project and take over the management and coordination of current project activities, ensuring a smooth transition and continuity of works.

Key Responsibilities:

• In charge of all the on-going projects.
• To liase with clients, consultants and authorities.
• Involved in site management works in building, M & E works and civil works.
• To organise inspection to obtain approval from consultant and statutory planning authorities.
• To organise practical inspection with consultant/client.
• All variation to be analyzed prior to confirmation to check and verify the consequences upon quality, cost, programming and build ability to the work.
• To conduct weekly site meeting with Site Agent, Site Supervisor, Sub-contractors and Clerk-of-Works.
• To attend to monthly consultant's meeting.
• Periodic inspection of the work during defect liability period.
• Liase with Q.S on site valuation and certification.
• Liase with consultant on final payment valuation and certificate of making good defect.

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience, preferably in high-rise building projects.
• Strong knowledge and experience in building, M&E, and civil works.
• Experienced in liaising and coordinating with government/statutory authorities, consultants, clients, and subcontractors.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken.
• Highly organised, dedicated, and responsible with a positive working attitude.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision and possess strong initiative.
• Good project management, coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
