Moorgen Pte Ltd is the sole authorized distributor of Moorgen (*************) German-engineered smart home systems in Singapore. From our showroom at Apex@Henderson, we install smart lighting, air-con control, motorized blinds and sensors in luxury homes and commercial spaces.

We are a new and growing team so you will get real hands-on work from day one and a clear path to grow with us. No smart home experience? That is fine. We will train you on our systems.

What you will do

•    Install, wire and set up smart home systems: lighting, air conditioning, blinds and sensors

•    Do neat, well-labelled wiring and cable management; we can be proud to show clients

•    Read wiring diagrams and layout drawings, and get the installation right on site

•    Set up and test controllers, home networks, and the Moorgen app, and fix any issues

•    Work with interior designers, electricians, and project managers to keep jobs on schedule

•    Show homeowners how to use their new system at handover

What you need

•    Nitec, Higher Nitec or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, IT or a related field

•    Comfortable working on-site at different project locations around Singapore

•    Careful, safety-minded and proud of good workmanship

•    Able to troubleshoot problems on your own

•    Good English. Mandarin is a plus, as you may liaise with our hardware suppliers overseas

Good to have (not required)

•    Experience with any smart home or home automation system

•    Knowledge of protocols such as Zigbee, Modbus, DALI or 0–10V

•    Basic networking: LAN setup, VLANs, Wi-Fi optimization

•    AutoCAD or other technical drawing software
