Duties and Responsibilities
Provide timely IT support to all users and resolve hardware, software, network and system-related issues in an effective and service-oriented manner.
Maintain and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, servers, printers, communication systems, firewalls and network infrastructure to ensure business continuity.
Oversee installation, configuration and maintenance of ICT systems for the main office and project sites.
Perform daily system health checks, preventive maintenance and endpoint reinstallation activities to maintain system availability and performance.
Support ICT helpdesk operations and ensure service requests and incidents are properly tracked, escalated and resolved within agreed timelines.
Support administration of workstations, servers, backup systems and other business-critical ICT services.
Ensure data backups are performed accurately, securely and in accordance with retention and recovery requirements.
Monitor system performance, availability and capacity, and recommend corrective or improvement actions where necessary.
Support project infrastructure planning, deployment and operational readiness for office and site environments.
Support cybersecurity monitoring, detection and response activities, and coordinate timely follow-up actions for identified incidents or control weaknesses.
Identify vulnerabilities through risk assessments and recommend practical mitigation measures to reduce operational and information security risks.
Ensure compliance with internal ICT policies, headquarters' security requirements, ISO 27001 controls and other applicable regulatory obligations.
Monitor adherence to documented procedures, security baselines and audit requirements, and maintain relevant records for governance purposes.
Deliver or coordinate cybersecurity awareness training and user education programmes.
Plan and execute ICT audits for company branches and group companies across the Asia Pacific region.
Develop risk-based audit plans aligned with group objectives and business priorities.
Collaborate with regional IT teams and relevant stakeholders to address audit findings and implement corrective actions.
Prepare clear audit reports, management updates and actionable recommendations for system and process improvements.
Education & Experience
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems or a related discipline.
Approximately 5 years or more of relevant ICT experience, preferably in an enterprise, project-based of multinational environment.
Previous experience as a Senior ICT Engineer, ICT Team Lead, Assistant Manager or similar role would be advantageous.
Experience supporting multiple offices, project sites or regional operations would be preferred.
Experience in construction, engineering or project-based industries would be an advantage.
