Trade Finance Agency Middle Office (Bank) – Manager

Role Overview

Support the Trade Finance business in monitoring and controlling transactions, collateral, limits and exposures. The role involves close coordination with Front Office, clients and Operations to ensure transactions are properly approved, monitored and executed.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and vet Trade Finance transactions against approved credit facilities and limits.
• Monitor client limits, country limits, collateral coverage and exposure.
• Track cash and stock collateral and identify any shortfalls or LTV breaches.
• Perform mark-to-market valuations for transactions with commodity price exposure.
• Monitor past-due exposures, limit excesses, waivers and outstanding conditions.
• Coordinate with Front Office, clients and Operations on transaction approvals, collateral, stock releases and documentation.
• Perform periodic collateral valuations and maintain accurate records in relevant systems.
• Ensure required AML, KYC and transaction screening checks are completed.
• Monitor commodity prices and maintain daily transaction monitoring records.
• Support process improvements, projects and other duties assigned by the team.

Requirements

• Good knowledge of Trade Finance products and processes.
• Relevant experience in Trade Finance Middle Office, Back Office or Operations.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to monitor multiple transactions and exposures.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong team player with good organizational skill
