Job Description

We are looking for a technically competent Network Presales Engineer to support our sales team in designing and proposing enterprise network infrastructure solutions to customers.

The successful candidate will be responsible for understanding customer requirements, providing technical consultation, designing network solutions, preparing technical proposals and BOQs, and delivering solution presentations. You will work closely with the sales, project management, and technical teams to ensure proposed solutions meet customer requirements and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to understand their business needs, existing network infrastructure, and technical requirements.
• Design and propose enterprise networking solutions, including LAN, WAN, WLAN, SD-WAN, network security, and infrastructure upgrades.
• Prepare network topology diagrams, solution architecture, technical specifications, BOQs, and BOMs.
• Conduct technical assessments, site surveys, proof of concepts (POCs), and product demonstrations when required.
• Work closely with the sales team to provide technical support throughout the sales cycle.
• Participate in customer meetings, technical discussions, and solution presentations.
• Review RFPs, RFQs, and tender documents, and prepare technical proposals and compliance documentation.
• Liaise with vendors, distributors, and technology partners for product information, quotations, and technical support.
• Coordinate with project and technical delivery teams to ensure smooth project handovers.
• Keep updated on the latest enterprise networking technologies, ICT products, and industry trends.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
• Preferably 2–5 years of experience in Network Engineering, Network Presales, ICT Solution Design, or a related technical role.
• Strong understanding of enterprise networking concepts, including LAN, WAN, VLAN, IP routing, switching, TCP/IP, and subnetting.
• Knowledge of wireless networking, network security, firewalls, VPN, SD-WAN, and network infrastructure.
• Experience in preparing technical proposals, network designs, BOQs/BOMs, and tender documentation.
• Familiarity with networking products from Cisco, HPE Aruba, Juniper, Fortinet, or other equivalent vendors.
• Good communication, presentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel for customer meetings and site visits when required.
