About the Role

We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Weighbridge Operator to join our Inbound & Outbound Operations team.

In this role, you will be responsible for operating the weighbridge system, monitoring vehicle movements and ensuring accurate weighing and documentation of incoming materials and outgoing shipments.

You will play an important role in supporting smooth daily plant operations by ensuring that all vehicle weighing activities are carried out accurately, efficiently and in accordance with company procedures.

What You'll Do

• Operate the weighbridge system to record and verify the weight of incoming and outgoing vehicles, including tankers, lorries and containers.
• Ensure accurate recording of vehicle details, material information and weighing transactions in the system.
• Coordinate vehicle movements with relevant internal departments and transporters to support smooth receiving and dispatch operations.
• Verify weighing records, delivery documents, pallet slips and gate passes before vehicles enter or leave the premises.
• Identify and report weight discrepancies, ensuring proper verification and approval before vehicle release.
• Prepare and issue weighbridge tickets, delivery orders, gate passes and other operational documents.
• Maintain accurate data entry, filing and documentation for operational records.
• Ensure compliance with established weighing procedures, approved weight tolerances and plant operational requirements.
• Communicate effectively with Operations, Warehouse, Quality Control, Security and external transporters.
• Support other operational and administrative activities as required.

What We're Looking For

• Minimum SPM qualification; Diploma or higher qualifications are welcome.
• At least 2 years of relevant working experience in weighbridge operations, logistics, warehouse administration or a related operational environment.
• Basic computer skills, particularly Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Experience using weighbridge systems or ERP systems would be an added advantage.
• Good communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy and record management.
• Able to work independently, manage multiple tasks and coordinate effectively with different stakeholders.
• Responsible, disciplined and committed to following operational procedures.
• Willing to work on rotating shifts and overtime when required.
