Job Summary

You will manage front-desk operations including appointments, billing, and payment collection while ensuring accurate processing of patient bills and insurance claims. You will support medication dispensing and stock management to enhance patient service efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Manage front-desk tasks including scheduling appointments, billing, payment collection, and handling phone and walk-in enquiries
• Prepare case notes and required forms accurately for patient records
• Process patient bills and insurance claims (e.g., Medisave, insurance) promptly to meet deadlines
• Communicate with patients and payers to resolve outstanding bills efficiently
• Verify bill accuracy and review patient documents to ensure completeness for medical claims
• Assist in preparing and dispensing medication following established procedures
• Replenish medication stock and assist with stock taking to maintain inventory accuracy
• Provide administrative support to the department to ensure smooth operations
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support department needs

Job requirements and qualification

• Minimum GCE ‘O’ Level qualification
• Experience working in a healthcare setting
• Proficiency in medical billing software and basic computer skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage patients and team members effectively
• Strong customer-service mindset focused on enhancing patient satisfaction
• Ability to multitask and maintain efficiency in a fast-paced environment
• Passion for learning and sharing knowledge, skills, and best practices
• Discipline in establishing effective work systems and maintaining high personal integrity
