Quantity Surveyor (Electrical Engineering)

Salary: $3,000 - $6,000 (Based on Experience)

Location: Paya Lebar / Aljunied

Work Schedule:

• 5-day work week

• Monthly Rest Days: 8

• Primarily office-based with occasional site visits

Responsibilities:

• Prepare cost estimates for electrical engineering projects

• Calculate quantities, materials, labor, and project costs

• Prepare tender documents and evaluate quotations and bids

• Support contract negotiations with suppliers and subcontractors

• Monitor project budgets, expenses, variations, and cost forecasts

• Assess completed works and prepare progress claims and valuations

• Process and verify subcontractor payment claims

• Identify commercial and contractual risks

• Assist with variation orders, contractual claims, and dispute resolution

• Conduct occasional site inspections to verify project progress

Requirements:

• Qualification or educational background in Electrical Engineering

• Relevant Quantity Surveying, cost estimation, or electrical project experience is preferred

• Candidates at an early stage of their career are welcome to apply

• Good understanding of electrical engineering works and project costing

• Able to interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and tender documents

• Strong numerical, analytical, and cost management skills

• Comfortable with occasional project site visits

• Candidates able to start work immediately or on short notice will have an advantage
