Key responsibilities

Assessing clients' current pension arrangements and retirement readiness, conducting comprehensive financial analysis to identify gaps and opportunities

Conducting regular reviews of pension portfolios and recommending adjustments to optimise performance and ensure alignment with changing client needs

Liaising with pension providers, trustees and other financial professionals to facilitate smooth implementation of pension strategies

Preparing detailed pension management reports and presenting findings to clients in a clear and accessible manner

Staying abreast of changes in pension legislation and tax regulations, ensuring advice remains compliant and up-to-date

Building and maintaining strong client relationships through professional communication and exceptional service delivery

Requirements

Relevant professional qualifications in financial planning or pension management, such as Diploma in Financial Planning (DFP) or equivalent recognised credentials

Minimum of 1-2 years' experience working in pension planning, financial advisory or a related role within the financial services sector

Comprehensive knowledge of pension legislation, tax implications and retirement planning strategies

Strong analytical and numerical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate findings effectively

Excellent client-facing skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds
