Assistant UI/UX Managers collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of products. They are responsible for planning and driving user research, leading a team of designers, providing direction, championing responsible AI adoption and AI governance, and contributing to the design management team. To ensure the delivery of high-quality work, strong project planning skills are essential.

What you’ll be doing:

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including stakeholders, product owners, business analysts, and developers to make sure the team delivers high-quality design outcomes that achieve product success.

• Plan and drive user research activities, including stakeholder interviews and workshops.

• Lead a team of designers and provide guidance on projects, responsible the use of AI and workflow adoption to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality work within budget and on schedule.

• Foster a culture of learning and development within the design team.

• Provide mentorship to a team of designers, supporting their career development and fostering a collaborative culture .

• Develop and maintain the best practices with the latest industry standards and new design trends in the design team, with strong emphasis on AI governance and scalable adoption of generative AI tools.

• Contribute to the design management team by providing feedback on strategic initiatives aimed at achieving the company's values.

We are looking for you if you are:

• A diploma or above in Interactive / Multimedia / Visual Design or related disciplines.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in UI/UX design or related field, with 2+ years of experiences in a leadership role managing designers.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills in English and Cantonese.

• Demonstrated strong leadership abilities through your experience in effectively leading and managing design teams.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Exceptional project management skills enable you to consistently deliver high-quality work within specified timelines and budgetary constraints.

• In-depth knowledge of industry best practices, staying up-to-date with the latest design trends, generative AI tools, and agentic workflows.

• Strategic mindset empowers you to provide invaluable insights and steer future projects with precision.

• A design portfolio or demonstrable examples of leadership in UI/UX projects, ideally showcasing team-level implementation of AI-enhanced workflows.
