Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience managing IT or software development projects, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
• Strong understanding of software development processes, IT systems and project implementation lifecycles.
• Demonstrated experience in end-to-end project management, including planning, budgeting, resource allocation, risk management and stakeholder engagement.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong client-facing experience, with the ability to manage expectations, resolve conflicts and maintain effective stakeholder relationships.
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical, decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver under tight deadlines.
• Self-motivated, adaptable and capable of driving projects independently while collaborating effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Added Advantages

• Experience managing software implementation projects within the Banking, Financial Services and Insurance (BFSI) or telecommunications industries.
• Familiarity with credit collection, accounts receivable management or debt recovery systems, including workflows from pre-due to recovery.
• Exposure to structured project management methodologies and tools.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Senior IT Project Manager (Software) to lead and oversee the successful delivery of software and technology projects at Stampede Solution.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing projects from initiation through implementation, ensuring they are delivered within the agreed scope, timelines and budget. You will work closely with clients, internal stakeholders and cross-functional technical teams to coordinate project activities, manage risks and drive successful outcomes.

This opportunity is ideal for someone with strong IT project management experience, excellent stakeholder management skills and a proven ability to lead multiple software projects in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Delivery

• Lead and manage end-to-end IT and software projects, from initiation and planning through development, testing, implementation and closure.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, milestones and deliverables aligned with business objectives and client requirements.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential delays and implement corrective actions to ensure timely delivery.
• Manage project scope, budgets and resource allocation to achieve agreed project outcomes.
• Coordinate multiple projects and workstreams while balancing competing priorities and deadlines.

Client & Stakeholder Management

• Act as the primary point of contact for clients and key stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Engage with clients to understand business requirements, project expectations and delivery priorities.
• Maintain clear and consistent communication on project progress, milestones, risks and potential challenges.
• Manage client expectations, address concerns and ensure alignment between business needs and technical deliverables.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships to support successful project delivery and customer satisfaction.

Risk Management & Problem Resolution

• Identify, assess and manage project risks, issues and dependencies throughout the project lifecycle.
• Proactively address project challenges, resource constraints and potential delivery bottlenecks.
• Facilitate issue resolution and manage conflicts across project teams and functional areas.
• Implement appropriate mitigation strategies to minimise project disruptions and maintain delivery commitments.
• Escalate critical project risks and issues to management with clear recommendations and action plans.

Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams, including Business Analysts, Software Developers, QA and other relevant technical stakeholders.
• Provide direction, guidance and support to project team members to ensure alignment with project goals.
• Facilitate project discussions, progress reviews and stakeholder meetings to drive accountability and collaboration.
• Mentor and coach team members to strengthen project delivery capabilities and team effectiveness.
• Foster effective communication and collaboration across departments to resolve challenges and implement improvements.

Project Governance & Continuous Improvement

• Prepare and present project status reports, progress updates, risk assessments and recommendations to management and stakeholders.
• Establish and maintain effective project monitoring, documentation and reporting practices.
• Ensure project activities and deliverables align with agreed requirements, quality standards and business objectives.
• Identify opportunities to improve project management processes, workflows and overall delivery efficiency.
• Recommend and implement improvements that enhance project outcomes and client satisfaction.
