Job Summary
Plan and deliver engaging lessons for Primary 3 to Primary 6 students based on the MOE syllabus, monitor progress, provide feedback, and maintain effective classroom management to support student learning and development.
Responsibilities
Plan and deliver lessons aligned with the MOE syllabus for Primary 3 to Primary 6 students to ensure curriculum objectives are met
Prepare teaching materials and worksheets that enhance student understanding and engagement
Monitor students’ academic progress regularly and provide targeted support to address learning needs
Mark assignments accurately and provide constructive feedback to guide student improvement
Maintain effective classroom management to create a positive and focused learning environment
Develop revision notes and practice papers to reinforce key concepts and prepare students for assessments
Communicate clearly and professionally with parents and management to report on student progress and address concerns
Participate actively in training sessions and support centre activities to enhance teaching skills and contribute to the educational community
Qualifications:
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Education, Science, or a related field.
Experience teaching Science according to the Singapore MOE primary school syllabus.
Proficient in English with excellent communication skills.
Passionate about teaching and helping students improve their scientific knowledge and thinking skills.
Prior MOE teaching experience is preferred.
Experience teaching in a tuition centre is an advantage.
