A. Position Overview

The UAT Analyst is responsible for conducting business and functional testing to ensure system changes operate according to business requirements for a digital banking client. The role involves developing and executing test cases, identifying and tracking defects, and coordinating with business and development teams to ensure system functionality meets the required standards.

B. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct post-release and post-implementation testing to ensure system functionality meets business requirements.
• Work closely with business teams to develop and execute test cases based on business requirements.
• Identify, document and report system bugs and errors to development teams for investigation and resolution.
• Monitor defect resolution progress and perform retesting to verify that reported issues have been resolved.
• Provide regular updates on testing progress and escalate potential risks to the UAT Project Lead.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive testing documentation, including test cases, test results and defect management records, to support the required sign-off process.
• Identify and recommend opportunities to improve UAT processes and testing efficiency.
• Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

C. Qualifications

· Education & Experience

o Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Banking, Business Administration or a related field.

o 1–3 years of relevant experience in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), manual testing, functional testing or business system testing.

o Experience in banking, fintech, payment services or financial services will be an added advantage.

o Candidates with banking operations or business analysis experience involving structured UAT activities are encouraged to apply.

· Technical Requirements

o Good understanding of UAT methodologies, functional testing and regression testing.

o Experience in developing and executing test cases based on business requirements.

o Familiarity with defect reporting, tracking, resolution monitoring and retesting processes.

o Ability to prepare and maintain test results, defect logs and sign-off documentation.

o Familiarity with Jira or similar testing and defect tracking tools will be an added advantage.

o Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, for testing documentation and reporting.

· Skills:

o Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

o Strong attention to detail and accuracy in test execution and documentation.

o Good organisational and time management skills.

o Good written and verbal communication skills in both Mandarin and English, with the ability to communicate effectively with business and technical stakeholders.

o Ability to identify potential risks and escalate issues promptly.

o Ability to coordinate effectively with business and development teams.

o Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

o Adaptability to changing project requirements and testing priorities.

Pay: RM7,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
