Role overview
Support the finance team with day-to-day accounting and documentation, covering payments, invoicing, vouchers, and banking and trade-finance paperwork.
Key responsibilities
Issue cheques and manage petty cash
Prepare tax invoices, credit notes and debit notes
Prepare receipt, payment and journal vouchers
Complete GIRO application forms for customers and vendors
Prepare bank remittance application forms
Prepare letter of credit application forms
Track and allocate stationery and paper usage across departments
Respond to queries from the Department of Statistics
Handle other ad-hoc duties as assigned
Requirements
Diploma in Accounting (LCCI Level 3 or equivalent)
No prior experience required
Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is an added advantage
