Eligibility:
Candidates must already have the legal right to work in Singapore.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist the Contracts Manager in overseeing contract administration, commercial management and cost control for major LTA MRT and tunnelling projects.

Manage subcontract procurement, tender evaluations, contract negotiations and subcontract administration throughout the project lifecycle.

Oversee progress claims, variation orders, cost assessments and final accounts, ensuring accurate commercial reporting and financial control.

Prepare, review and manage extension-of-time (EOT) claims, contractual correspondence and commercial claims in accordance with contract requirements.

Coordinate with LTA, consultants, subcontractors and project teams to resolve contractual matters, variations and commercial disputes.

Support the Contracts Manager in commercial risk management, cost forecasting, budget monitoring and project financial performance.

REQUIREMENTS

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent.

Minimum 8 years of relevant Quantity Surveying / Contracts Management experience, including substantial exposure to LTA civil infrastructure projects.

Strong post-contract commercial management experience on MRT Stations, Underground Structures and/or Tunnelling projects.

Strong experience in subcontract administration, variation orders, progress claims, EOT claims, cost control and final accounts.

Experience working with an A1/Main Contractor in Singapore, preferably on major LTA MRT or tunnelling contracts.

Good knowledge of Singapore construction contracts, LTA contractual requirements and commercial procedures, with strong negotiation, leadership and stakeholder-management capabilities.
