Plan, schedule, and optimize daily injection molding production runs, balancing machine tonnage capacity, mold changes, and cycle times.
Coordinate with purchasing and warehouse teams to ensure plastic resin (pellets/granules), masterbatch colorants, and insert components are available ahead of scheduled runs.
Monitor work-in-progress (WIP) and coordinate dynamically with the engineering and maintenance teams to schedule tool changes and routine mold maintenance with minimal bottlenecking.
Analyze machine utilization rates and track actual output against sales forecasts to recommend productivity improvements.
Ensure production runs meet QA documentation standards and cross-functionally liaise with logistics for on-time order fulfillment.
