Responsibilities
Provide Level 1 and Level 2 IT support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, POS terminals and other peripherals.
Install, configure and deploy end-user devices and troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
Support and maintain LAN/WAN networks, Wi-Fi, VPN, firewalls, managed switches and internet connectivity.
Troubleshoot network and connectivity issues across multiple locations.
Administer Microsoft 365 user accounts, licences, mailboxes, permissions and MFA.
Support Azure virtual machines and hybrid cloud environments.
Manage NAS storage, user permissions, backups and recovery processes.
Monitor backup health and perform restoration testing.
Perform system patching, endpoint protection and basic cybersecurity administration.
Provide technical support for POS systems and coordinate with vendors on troubleshooting and system enhancements.
Assist with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central implementation, testing and integrations.
Maintain IT hardware/software inventories, licences, warranties and renewals.
Coordinate with IT vendors and service providers.
Maintain IT SOPs, network documentation and technical records.
Support cybersecurity audits, vulnerability remediation and compliance requirements.
Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems or related discipline.
3 to 5 years of relevant experience in IT support, infrastructure or systems administration.
Hands-on experience supporting Windows desktops, laptops and peripherals.
Good knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration.
Good understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, Wi-Fi and VPN.
Hands-on exposure to firewalls and managed switches.
Experience with Azure, NAS and enterprise backup solutions will be advantageous.
Experience supporting POS systems, retail operations or multiple locations will be advantageous.
Good troubleshooting, communication and documentation skills.
Able to work independently and coordinate effectively with users and external vendors.
