A leading ecommerce and digital solutions provider operating across Southeast Asia is looking for a Head of AI & Data to lead the evolution of its data and analytics capabilities into an AI-driven intelligence platform.

This is a senior, hands-on leadership role combining data strategy, platform architecture and AI product innovation. You'll own the end-to-end data, analytics and AI roadmap, moving the business beyond traditional BI and dashboards towards predictive insights, AI-powered decision-making and autonomous optimisation across ecommerce, marketing and social commerce.

You'll lead the development of a modern data platform spanning data engineering, analytics, machine learning and generative AI. This includes evolving the existing data stack, building real-time data capabilities, strengthening governance and establishing the foundations for AI-powered analytics, copilots and agentic workflows. You'll also drive applications across forecasting, recommendations, pricing, campaign optimisation, inventory planning and automated insight generation.

We're looking for 14+ years of experience across data, analytics and AI, including leadership experience, with a strong track record of building modern data platforms and scaling teams. Deep expertise in data architecture and the modern data stack is important, alongside practical experience with machine learning, LLMs, RAG, conversational analytics and AI-powered applications. Experience in ecommerce, marketplaces, martech or digital platforms is highly relevant, with regional Southeast Asian exposure an advantage.
