岗位职责

Company Description Xionex helps banks, insurers, and enterprises modernize operations and unlock new efficiency opportunities through governed AI and specialized vertical AI agents. The company combines deep domain expertise with a high-performance global service-delivery model to reduce costs, accelerate back-office processes, and improve service quality. By focusing on regulated industries and complex operational environments, Xionex delivers solutions that are secure, compliant, and scalable. Team members collaborate across functions and regions, working with advanced technology and real-world data to solve mission-critical challenges for clients.

Role Description The KYC Lead is a full-time, hybrid role based in Greater Kuala Lumpur, with the flexibility to work from home part of the time. This role oversees end-to-end Know Your Customer (KYC) processes, including customer due diligence, onboarding reviews, periodic refreshes, and enhanced due diligence for higher-risk profiles. The KYC Lead will review and validate KYC files, ensure adherence to regulatory and internal policy requirements, and maintain accurate documentation within relevant systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading a team of KYC analysts, assigning and monitoring workloads, providing guidance and quality assurance, and escalating potential compliance issues when needed. The role collaborates closely with compliance, risk, operations, and technology teams to streamline processes, support AI-enabled workflow improvements, and contribute to continuous enhancement of KYC standards and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Strong KYC, AML, and financial crime compliance knowledge, with a solid understanding of customer due diligence and enhanced due diligence requirements.
  • Experience leading or supervising KYC or onboarding teams in banking, insurance, or financial services, including workflow management and quality assurance.
  • Ability to interpret and apply regulatory requirements and internal policies, with attention to detail in documentation, data validation, and exception handling.
  • Proficiency with KYC/onboarding platforms, case management tools, and basic data analysis using spreadsheets or similar tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear review notes, respond to queries, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with a structured approach to risk assessment and issue escalation.
  • Comfort working in a hybrid environment and coordinating activities across onsite and remote team members.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Law, or a related field; professional certifications in AML/KYC or compliance (e.g., CAMS) are an advantage.
  • Prior experience in regulated financial institutions or service providers supporting KYC operations is highly beneficial.
