Contract Role - 1 year

Maintenance or frontline supervisor skills

Basic Knowledge / Skills:

1. Machinery Engineer with 5-10 years of experience in working Refinery / Petrochemical industry

2. Sound engineering knowledge in the mechanical Engineering or related field

3. Able to understand machinery fundamentals and apply academic knowledge to resolve problems

4. Interface and collaboration with good communication skills

5. Good communication in English (both verbal and written) is a pre-requisite

Must have skills:

• Rotating equipment troubleshooting (pumps, compressors, steam turbines, fans, blowers)
• Working knowledge on Mechanical seals, seal plans, bearings, lubrication systems, and couplings
• Carry out Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) independently
• Basic knowledge about condition monitoring and vibration analysis , oil analysis, and machinery diagnostics
• Basic knowledge about rotating equipment related API standards (610, 617, 618, 670, 671, 682, 614)
• QA/QC checks during equipment major Maintenance and turnarounds
• Develop component repair requirements / specifications
• Rotating equipment engineering technical specification development and technical bid evaluation
• Able to read and interpret process flow diagrams, PIDs, equipment datasheets
• Commissioning and startup support
• Basic understanding on equipment metallurgy
• Technical report writing
• Stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration

Good to have skills:

• Gas turbine troubleshooting
• Equipment performance assessment and optimization
