About the role

The Management Trainee Program is designed to develop future business leaders through structured exposure in Sales Management and People Management. Trainees will gain hands-on experience in frontline sales execution, team leadership, talent development, operational management, and strategic business planning.

Key responsibilities

Phase 1: Foundation Development (3 Months)

• Execute sales and promotional activities across assigned channels and outlets.
• Develop a strong understanding of consumer purchasing behavior, market trends, and competitor activities.
• Build product knowledge and effective sales communication skills.
• Support territory coverage, customer servicing, and account management activities.
• Assist in achieving individual and team sales targets through effective sales execution.
• Conduct market surveys and gather insights to identify business opportunities.
• Analyze sales performance and prepare basic sales reports.
• Participate in product, sales, and customer engagement training programs.

Phase 2: People Management & Leadership Development (3 Months)

• Assist in supervising and coordinating field sales teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Support onboarding, training, and development activities for new team members.
• Monitor team performance, productivity, and execution against assigned KPIs.
• Participate in coaching, mentoring, and feedback sessions to develop leadership capabilities.
• Support employee engagement initiatives and team-building activities.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and HR teams on cross-functional projects.
• Identify areas for operational and team performance improvement.
• Develop problem-solving, decision-making, and stakeholder management skills through project involvement.
• Present recommendations, improvements, and project outcomes to management.
• Gain exposure to workforce planning, performance management, and people development processes.

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or related fields.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Strong interest in Sales, FMCG, and leadership development.
• Willing to start from frontline retail operations as part of the development program.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
• Results-oriented and self-motivated.
• Able to work on weekends and public holidays when required.
• Possess own transportation and willing to travel extensively.

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
