Preschool Teacher – Job Scope

Plan and conduct age-appropriate learning activities to support children’s development.

Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment.

Observe and assess children’s learning progress and developmental milestones.

Manage daily routines, including meals, hygiene, toileting, and rest time.

Prepare teaching materials and maintain classroom cleanliness and safety.

Build positive relationships with parents and provide regular updates on children’s progress.

Collaborate with colleagues to support children’s learning and overall well-being.

Requirements:
L2 Position:
Diploma in Early Childhood Care & Education – Teaching (DECCE-T) or an ECDA-recognised equivalent qualification.

L1 Position:
Advanced Certificate in Early Childhood Care & Education (ACECCE), Higher Nitec in Early Childhood Education, or an ECDA-recognised equivalent qualification.

Must meet ECDA’s educator certification requirements and obtain the relevant certification/Letter of Notification (LON).

Good communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for working with young children.

Able to work collaboratively with colleagues and build positive relationships with parents.

Fresh graduates with relevant qualifications are welcome to apply.
