Senior SAP Logistics (SD/MM) Consultant

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP Logistics Consultant with strong expertise in SAP Sales & Distribution (SD) and Materials Management (MM) to support implementation, enhancement, rollout, and support projects. The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, functional teams, and technical teams to deliver end-to-end SAP logistics solutions that align with business requirements and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities

Functional Consulting

• Lead requirement gathering workshops and business process discussions with stakeholders.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP SD/MM solutions.
• Design, configure, test, and deploy SAP Logistics solutions.
• Provide process optimization recommendations and best practices.

SAP SD Responsibilities

• Configure and support:
• Customer Master Data
• Sales Order Processing
• Pricing & Condition Technique
• Shipping & Transportation
• Delivery Processing
• Billing & Invoicing
• Credit Management
• Returns Management
• Intercompany Sales

SAP MM Responsibilities

• Configure and support:
• Material Master
• Purchasing Processes
• Vendor Management
• Inventory Management
• Goods Receipt / Goods Issue
• Invoice Verification
• Procurement Lifecycle
• Subcontracting & Stock Transport Orders

Project Delivery

• Participate in full project lifecycle activities including:
• Blueprinting
• Solution Design
• Configuration
• Integration Testing
• User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Cutover
• Go-Live & Hypercare Support
• Prepare functional specifications for developments, enhancements, reports, interfaces, and forms.
• Collaborate with ABAP, Basis, Integration, and FICO teams on cross-functional requirements.

Stakeholder Management

• Act as a trusted advisor to business users and project stakeholders.
• Conduct user training sessions and workshops.
• Provide production support and issue resolution.
• Mentor junior consultants and support knowledge-sharing initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of SAP SD/MM consulting experience.
• At least 2 full-cycle SAP implementation projects completed as a Functional Consultant or Lead Consultant.
• Strong configuration experience in SAP SD and MM modules.
• Experience in integration with:
• SAP FICO
• SAP WM/EWM
• SAP PP
• SAP QM
• SAP TM
• Strong understanding of Order-to-Cash (O2C) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA implementations or migrations.
• Knowledge of SAP Fiori applications.
• Experience with SAP Activate methodology.
• Exposure to interfaces using IDoc, EDI, API, and middleware platforms.
• Experience in regional or global rollout projects.
• Knowledge of logistics, manufacturing, retail, or consumer products industries.
