Job Description: Investor Relations Lead

Private Markets | Singapore

Our client is an established multi-asset investment firm with a long-term global investment approach in the private markets and a strong emphasis on building enduring partnerships with investors and business stakeholders.

As the firm continues to develop its investor engagement and fundraising capabilities, it is seeking an Investor Relations Lead to drive investor relations activities and strengthen its overall investor engagement platform. This is a broad-based and newly created role spanning fundraising, investor communications, fund reporting and stakeholder management.

As an individual contributor comfortable working in small and tight-knit team, the successful candidate will work closely with senior leadership and internal investment and operational teams, taking ownership of key IR initiatives while helping to enhance the quality, consistency and effectiveness of investor-facing activities.

Key Responsibilities

A) Investor Relations & Fundraising

• Lead and coordinate investor relations activities, supporting fundraising initiatives and the development of long-term relationships with existing and prospective investors.

• Prepare and oversee the production of investor presentations, fundraising materials, investment case studies and other marketing collateral.

• Manage investor engagement processes, including meeting preparation, briefing materials, follow-ups, investor records and fundraising pipeline tracking.

• Coordinate investor due diligence exercises, questionnaires, information requests and data room management, ensuring timely and accurate responses.

• Plan and execute investor-facing engagements, including annual meetings, roadshows, investor briefings and other stakeholder events.

• Work closely with senior management and internal teams to ensure consistent messaging and a high standard of investor communication.

B) Investor Reporting & Communications

• Drive the preparation of periodic investor reports, providing clear and timely updates on fund performance, portfolio developments and key investment activities.

• Partner with investment, finance and other relevant teams to consolidate and validate financial information, performance metrics and portfolio data.

• Translate investment and financial information into clear, concise and compelling investor-facing materials.

• Contribute to market updates, investment commentary and thought leadership content to support investor engagement and fundraising efforts.

• Monitor relevant market developments, investor sentiment and fundraising trends to inform investor communications and engagement strategies.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Degree qualified in Finance, Economics, Business or a related discipline.

• 6 – 8 years of relevant experience in investor relations, fundraising, client servicing or investor communications within private markets, investment management, private equity, venture capital or an adjacent financial services environment.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial and investment information clearly and effectively.

• Excellent presentation development, analytical and organisational skills, with strong attention to detail.

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple workstreams, coordinate stakeholders and deliver high-quality outputs under tight deadlines.

• Commercially minded, proactive and comfortable working with senior stakeholders in a dynamic investment environment.

• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build credible, lasting relationships with investors and internal teams.

• High levels of integrity, discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information.

• A continuous-improvement mindset, with an interest in leveraging technology to enhance productivity and the quality of IR deliverables.
