Key Responsibilities

• Carry out the decontamination, inspection, assembly, packaging, and sterilization of surgical instruments and medical devices.
• Clean and disinfect surgical tools and instrument sets while ensuring compliance with infection control and safety standards.
• Sort, assemble, pack, and label instruments and equipment according to established procedures and checklists.
• Maintain accurate records and inventory of surgical instruments, medical supplies, and equipment.
• Adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality guidelines to ensure efficient and accurate processing of sterile supplies.
• Support the overall operations of the Central Sterile Supply Department (CSSD) to ensure timely availability of sterile instruments for clinical use.

Requirements

• Prior healthcare, CSSD, sterilization, or hospital support experience will be advantageous.
• Physically fit (remove this) and  Comfortable  to lift, carry, and handle items weighing up to 7-10 kg.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
• Comfortable standing for extended periods while performing operational duties.
• Willing to work on a rotating shift schedule
• Responsible, reliable, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
