About the company 

I am representing a fast‑growing regional payments infrastructure provider that helps global businesses move money reliably across Asia’s most complex and high‑growth markets.

As part of their expansion efforts, they are hiring an Market Expansion Associate (Fintech) who will strengthen the analytical backbone of the team. This role supports market assessments, partner evaluations, and structured reporting that keeps multiple expansion workstreams moving with clarity and momentum.

About the role

Reporting to the Head of Market Expansion, your responsibilities would include

• Conduct structured market, competitor, and ecosystem research to identify opportunities, gaps, and emerging trends across new corridors.

• Assess potential hosts and partners using internal scorecards and evaluation frameworks, presenting insights clearly to senior stakeholders.

• Support the partner lifecycle — from sourcing and due diligence through onboarding and activation in new markets.

• Compare commercial proposals, consultant inputs, and market data, distilling them into concise, decision‑ready recommendations.

• Build and maintain dashboards, trackers, and structured reporting to monitor pipeline progress and expansion workstreams.

• Work closely with Finance, Product, Operations, Legal & Compliance, and external parties to ensure alignment across market‑entry initiatives.

Skills and experience required 

• 2–4 years of experience in strategy, consulting, analytics, market entry, or partnerships/BD.

• Strong stakeholder management skills and experience collaborating with legal, compliance, finance, and product teams.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex regulatory concepts.
