Production Executive (Operation)
Production Execution

• Supervise and control daily production activities to ensure production schedules are followed and output targets are achieved in accordance with company requirements.

• Lead , guide and supervise production workers, ensure proper task allocation, discipline and efficient manpower utilization.

• Monitor production progress, output and workflow efficiency, and report deviations, delays or operational issues to the Production Manager.

Quality Control Support

• Ensure products are produced in accordance with quality standards, and coordinate with QA/QC to identify and resolve quality issues during production. Ensure maintenance activities comply with the Company's Quality Management System (ISO 9001), applicable work instructions, and product specifications.

Material & Inventory Control

• Ensure proper usage of materials during production and report shortages or abnormal usage to the Production Manager and Warehouse team.

Safety, Housekeeping and Discipline

• Support the implementation of Occupational Safety and Health (OSH/EHS) requirements within the production area by ensuring workers comply with safety procedures, PPE requirements, and workplace safety practices in coordination with the designated Safety/EHS function.

• Ensure good housekeeping (5S) is maintained within production areas by keeping workstations clean, organized, and in accordance with established 5S standards.

Risk Management

• Monitor daily operations to identify operational, quality, equipment, and safety risks. Take immediate corrective action within assigned authority and escalate significant risks to the immediate superior.

Coordination & Communication

• Coordinate with Production Planner, Production Manager, Technical Engineering and QA/QC to ensure smooth production flow and timely output.

• Report daily production performance, issues and abnormalities to the Production Manager for review and escalation.

Training and Improvement

• Assist in training new and existing production operators to ensure they understand job requirements, work instructions and quality standards.

• Support continuous improvement activities such as productivity improvement, waste reduction and process efficiency initiatives at production floor level.

General Duties

• Perform any other duties or tasks assigned by the Production Manager and/or Management from time to time.
  
  Techinical & Engineering Executive (Injection Moulding)

  1. Machine & Mould Engineering

  •      Own the technical setup of injection moulding machines and moulds, including parameter development, mould installation/alignment and production start-up validation.

  •      Direct mould changeovers and production changeovers, ensuring correct technical execution by technicians with minimal downtime.

  •      Inspect moulds and machines for wear, damage or drift, and plan preventive/corrective maintenance with the Engineering/Maintenance function.

  •      Apply strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical engineering to diagnose and resolve machine and mould faults.

  2. Process Engineering & Troubleshooting

  •      Optimize process parameters – temperature, pressure, injection speed, cycle time – to resolve moulding defects (e.g., flashing, sink marks, dimensional variation, short shots) and to improve part quality.

  •      Apply technical knowledge of engineering plastic and commodity resins (e.g., PP, ABS, PC, PA, POM, PE, PS, PVC) and their processing characteristics to guide setup and troubleshooting decisions.

  •      Lead root cause analysis for recurring process and quality issues, and design the corrective engineering fix – not just report the defect.

  •      Monitor Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and cycle time data to identify technical bottlenecks and drive engineering-led improvements.

  3. Operations Supervision for Output

  •      Supervise daily injection moulding operations – directing operators, technicians and shift leaders – to ensure production targets, delivery schedules and machine utilization are achieved.

  •      Assign tasks, set performance expectations and monitor team productivity and discipline on the shop floor.

  •      Coach and technically guide operators/technicians on machine operation, setup and first-line troubleshooting to lift team capability.

  •      Manage shift coverage and manpower allocation, escalating workforce or discipline matters to the Operations Manager as needed.

  4. Quality Engineering & Continuous Improvement

  •      Work closely with the Quality team on process control and defect reduction.

  •      Ensure implementation of Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) arising from engineering root cause analysis.

  •      Lead continuous improvement initiatives – Lean Manufacturing, 5S, waste reduction and cost-saving projects – to improve productivity, quality and operational efficiency.

  5. Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) and Compliance

  •      Promote safe work practices, conduct workplace inspections and enforce PPE usage within the injection moulding area.

  •      Ensure compliance with company SHE policies and applicable regulatory standards (e.g., OSHA 1994) in all production activities.

  •      Ensure production activities are conducted in accordance with company quality management system requirements.
