The successful applicant for this position will be joining the Development Services Team in Lonza Singapore. The team is responsible for the development and characterization of manufacturing processes used for the production of novel therapeutic recombinant proteins for Lonza’s global client base.

What You Will Do

• Execution of laboratory work supporting analytical testing on antibodies and other therapeutic recombinant proteins.
• Under supervision, author method development/validation study protocols and reports, ensuring delivery of high quality and GMP-compliant data, where applicable.
• Test methods employed include, but are not limited to, techniques using capillary electrophoresis, HPLC/UPLC, spectrophotometry, ELISAs, and qPCR.
• Collaborate within the different functional analytical teams by supporting analytical work for Characterization and Process Analytics, where required.
• Contribute to customer projects by generating scientific data from experimental work.
• Working as part of a site and global project team to ensure timely delivery of project work stages.
• Facilitate communication between other departments in Singapore (e.g. QC/QA/SCM/EHS).
  
  

What We Are Looking For

• Degree in a relevant Science field or Equivalent.
• Position available would be relevant for recent graduates and candidates with 1-2 years of experience in relevant process development analytical testing.
• Practical laboratory experience in analytical testing for antibodies or other recombinant proteins would be advantageous although training will be provided.
• The role offered will be commensurate with the candidate’s experience.
• Understanding of theory and application of recombinant protein production, purification and analysis.
• Good understanding and application of cGMP concepts is an added advantage.
• Experience in automation of laboratory systems would be beneficial.
