Role Description The Presales Network Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Bukit Jalil. This role involves working closely with the sales team and customers to understand technical requirements, design suitable network and ICT solutions, and prepare proposals, solution architectures, and bill of materials. The Presales Network Engineer conducts product demonstrations, presentations, and proof-of-concept activities, and provides technical responses to tenders and RFPs. Day-to-day tasks include performing network assessments, collaborating with implementation teams to ensure solution feasibility, and staying up to date with vendor technologies and market trends. The role also requires engaging with customers to clarify technical queries, providing presales support during negotiations, and contributing to documentation and knowledge sharing within

Qualifications

• Strong foundational knowledge in networking concepts (TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, VPNs, firewalls) and experience with common network devices and architectures.
• Hands-on experience with ICT infrastructure solutions, such as network and storage systems, IT security technologies, and server or virtualization platforms.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions, including solution design, sizing, and the preparation of technical proposals, diagrams, and presentations.
• Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate with internal sales and delivery teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, including conducting technical assessments, evaluating customer environments, and recommending appropriate technologies.
• Relevant academic background, such as a diploma or degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Professional certifications (e.g., Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, VMware, or other network/security vendor certifications) are advantageous.
• Ability to work on-site in Bukit Jalil, manage multiple presales engagements, and maintain a customer-focused, quality-driven approach.
