Imperial Dental Specialist Centre | Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur

Imperial Dental Specialist Centre is looking for a Dental Surgery Assistant (DSA) to join our clinical team. We are looking for someone who is responsible, adaptable, attentive and keen to learn in a professional specialist dental environment.

As a Dental Surgery Assistant, you will work closely with our dentists and clinical team to support the delivery of safe, efficient and comfortable patient care. The role requires good teamwork, attention to detail and the ability to respond calmly and efficiently in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide chairside assistance to dentists during examinations and dental procedures.
• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, materials and equipment before each patient.
• Assist with patient preparation and ensure patients are comfortable throughout their visit.
• Carry out proper cleaning, disinfection and sterilisation of instruments and clinical areas in accordance with the Centre's protocols.
• Maintain cleanliness and readiness of dental surgeries throughout the day.
• Assist with dental materials, clinical supplies and stock monitoring.
• Support the clinical team with patient flow and coordination between treatment rooms.
• Assist with dental records, X-rays, clinical photographs and other clinical documentation where required.
• Ensure equipment and instruments are properly handled, maintained and stored.
• Follow infection-control, patient-safety and confidentiality requirements at all times.
• Assist with other clinical and operational duties as reasonably required.

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for someone who is dynamic, flexible, proactive and genuinely keen to learn. You should be comfortable working closely with different dentists and team members and be able to adapt to different clinical procedures and changing daily requirements.

Good communication skills and good English proficiency are important, as we serve both local and international patients. Candidates who can communicate in two or more languages are particularly encouraged to apply. Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and/or Mandarin would be an added advantage.

Previous experience as a Dental Surgery Assistant, dental nurse, healthcare assistant or in a similar clinical environment would be an advantage. However, we are also open to fresh graduates and candidates without dental experience who demonstrate the right attitude, discipline and willingness to learn, as training can be provided.

Working Schedule

• Clinic operating hours: 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM
• 5 working days per week, with 2 rostered days off
• 1-hour flexible break

Pay: From RM4,200.00 per month
