Our client has been operating in Singapore for close to 40 years, supporting leading high-tech OEMs in the semiconductor and analytical industries. Originally rooted insheet-metal and mechanical manufacturing, they have since progressively moved up the value chain into complex mechatronics and system assembly.
Today, our client operates as a one-stop, vertically integrated contract manufacturing partner, delivering precision mechanical and mechatronic assemblies for semiconductor and medical equipment.
Head of Supply Chain Management (SCM)
(Office is in Senoko)
Job Description
Lead Supply Chain Operations – Oversee end-to-end supply chain activities across two entities, including production planning, MRP, purchasing, customer service and warehouse management.
Drive Delivery & Inventory Performance – Ensure on-time delivery, production continuity, optimal inventory levels and efficient working capital management.
Develop Supply Chain Strategy – Establish departmental KPIs, operational plans and strategies aligned with business objectives.
Improve Efficiency & Reduce Costs – Identify supply chain risks, streamline processes and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Lead & Develop the Team – Build a high-performing supply chain team, establish clear responsibilities and provide performance reports and recommendations to management.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Mechanical Engineering or a related field. APICS certification is an advantage with minimum 10 years of experience in supply chain and planning, preferably in the semiconductor or high-tech manufacturing industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
Technical Expertise – Strong knowledge of ERP systems and supply chain technologies; experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV/Navision is preferred.
Leadership & Communication – Strong leadership, communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and manage external suppliers.
Analytical & Results-Driven – Excellent problem-solving, planning and organisational skills, with a proven ability to improve processes, control costs and achieve operational targets.
