About Mummys Market
Mummys Market connects brands with families through exhibitions, events and digital platforms.
You know the moment. A booth with a queue around it while the one next to it sits empty. A campaign everyone shares versus one nobody notices. The difference is rarely budget — it's whether someone thought hard about why a person would stop, care, and tell someone else.
That's the job. We're looking for the person who thinks that way.
About the Role
You'll run brand activations across our exhibitions, events and digital platforms — shaping the concept, briefing creative, running it live, and then being honest about whether it worked.
This isn't a role for someone who wants to sign off a deck and move on. You'll be on the floor. You'll see it in real time. And you'll be the one who decides what changes tomorrow.
You'll work closely with our creative team, brief and direct campaign execution yourself, and report directly to Senior Manager with no layer in between. An idea you have on Monday can be live within weeks.
Here's What Matters Most to Us
We're not looking for someone who can simply execute a plan they were handed.
We're looking for someone who walks a live exhibition floor and can tell you, in real time, what's working and what to change tomorrow.
Someone who can take a plain brief — "raise awareness for this brand" — and come back with an activation people actually talk about.
Someone equally comfortable negotiating a partner's terms and reading the post-event report. A beautiful activation that delivered nothing is a cost. A spreadsheet without an idea is a bore.
Someone who owns the outcome, not just the activity.
Key Responsibilities
Brand Activation Strategy & Planning
- Plan and own the activation calendar across exhibitions, events and digital platforms.
- Develop activation concepts that connect brand positioning to commercial objectives.
- Align campaigns with product launches, seasonal peaks and key exhibition dates.
- Set clear objectives and success metrics for each activation before it launches.
Campaign Execution & Stakeholder Management
- Brief and direct creative, production and channel teams to deliver activations on time and on budget.
- Coordinate with brand partners, exhibitors and internal teams on shared campaigns.
- Manage activation budgets, timelines and vendor relationships.
- Pause, adjust or escalate when an activation is underperforming or off-brief.
Performance & Continuous Improvement
- Track activation performance against objectives and report findings clearly to leadership.
- Translate results into recommendations — what to repeat, scale, or drop.
- Run structured tests across messaging, creative and channels.
- Use analytics, automation and AI-powered tools where appropriate to speed up analysis and reduce repetitive work.
- Continuously explore new ways to raise activation effectiveness and efficiency.
What You'll Own
- The activation calendar. You decide what runs, in what order, and what comes off the plan — within agreed budget limits.
- Budget and execution. You manage activation spend and the vendor relationships that deliver it.
- The performance read. Your assessment of what worked goes directly to leadership. You won't be writing reports for someone else to interpret.
- How activations are measured. You'll shape the metrics and tracking routine, not just operate a template someone handed you.
What You Bring
- Typically 3–5 years of relevant experience in marketing, brand activation, events, campaign management or client servicing.
- Hands-on experience running campaigns end to end — concept, execution and performance review.
- Strong analytical skills and comfort working with performance dashboards, budgets and spreadsheets.
- Meticulous and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple activations in parallel.
- Able to translate campaign results into practical action.
- Comfortable making execution decisions independently within agreed budgets and guidelines — we want someone who acts, not someone who waits for permission.
- Able to brief and work with creative teams to test ideas and improve results.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Willingness to learn new marketing technologies and AI tools.
What Success Looks Like
- Activations are delivered on brief, on time and within budget.
- Each activation has clear objectives and is measured against them objectively.
- Underperformance is identified early and corrected promptly.
- Budgets are allocated towards activations that deliver results.
- Testing and iteration lead to measurable improvements in reach, engagement and commercial outcomes.
