RichKopitiam is looking for a hardworking and responsible Kitchen Assistant to support daily kitchen operations. The role involves assisting with food preparation, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, handling kitchen equipment and supporting the kitchen team to ensure food is prepared and served efficiently.

Training will be provided. Candidates with or without previous kitchen experience are welcome to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with basic food preparation, including washing, cutting, peeling and portioning ingredients.
• Support cooks and kitchen staff in preparing food according to instructions.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and food preparation areas.
• Wash and clean kitchen utensils, equipment and dishes.
• Ensure food ingredients are stored properly.
• Assist with receiving, checking and arranging kitchen supplies.
• Follow food safety, hygiene and kitchen operating procedures.
• Keep kitchen workstations clean and organised.
• Assist with other kitchen duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• Minimum SPM or equivalent qualification.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Previous kitchen experience is an advantage but not compulsory.
• Willing to learn and follow instructions.
• Able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Responsible, punctual and hardworking.
• Able to work well with other team members.
• Willing to work on shifts, weekends and public holidays.
