岗位职责

What The Role Is

The Solution Engineer will support the design, development, testing, delivery and maintenance of software solutions. The role involves technical implementations, collaborating with tech leads, product owners and other stakeholders to design, develop and maintain automated testing solutions that ensure the reliability, security and performance of mission-critical software. This is a hands-on technical role that also requires alignment with broader intel development objectives in anti-scam work.

What You Will Be Working On

  • Develop, execute and maintain automated test scripts using established testing frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, JUnit, TestNG, JMeter, Gatling, OWASP ZAP) across functional, regression, integration, performance, load, stress and security testing, identifying bottlenecks and vulnerabilities and collaborating with developers to remediate them.
  • Collaborate with product owners, developers and QA engineers to define test strategies and acceptance criteria, while maintaining comprehensive test plans, cases, data sets and results dashboards.
  • Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming and defect triage meetings.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI pipelines (GitHub Actions, DevOps).
  • Monitor and analyse test results, provide timely feedback to development teams, and report key quality metrics to senior leadership.
  • Coach junior developers on test-driven development (TDD) and best practices.
  • Contribute to internal knowledge bases and community of practice sessions.
  • Senior positions will require experience in leading or mentoring junior personnels.
  • Deliver high-quality solutions that are thoughtfully designed and architected, ensuring modularity and scalability.
  • Effective collaboration with Tech Leads, team members, and stakeholders, including master planning.

What We Are Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years of professional software development experience, with at least 2 years focused on both manual testing and test automation.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, C#).
  • Hands-on experience with test automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, JUnit/TestNG, PyTest).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD platforms (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins).
  • Knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter, Gatling) and security testing utilities (OWASP ZAP, Burp Suite).
  • Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum development cycles.
  • Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Clear written and verbal communication; ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Collaborative mindset with a proactive attitude towards continuous improvement.

All new hires are appointed on a two-year contract in the first instance and will be assessed and considered for permanent tenure over time, based on performance.

As part of the shortlisting process for this role, you may be required to complete a medical declaration and/or undergo further assessment.

All shortlisted applicants will be updated on the status of their applications within 4 weeks upon closing of the advertisement.
