  • Coordinate investigations into counterfeit networks, sellers, distributors, and grey market activity across the region.
  • Assess cases and determine appropriate actions, including takedowns, cease-and-desist measures, customs actions, administrative enforcement, and legal proceedings.
  • Monitor regional trends and emerging threats, providing recommendations on where enforcement resources should be prioritized.

Investigations, Enforcement & Case Management

  • Manage brand protection cases and investigations across APAC from identification through to resolution.
  • Coordinate enforcement actions with external investigators, legal counsel, customs authorities, law enforcement agencies, and other relevant authorities across the region.
  • Gather, review, and maintain evidence and documentation required to support enforcement and legal proceedings.
  • Partner with local counsel on litigation and other legal actions where required, considering the different legal and enforcement frameworks across APAC markets.
  • Support customs records and deliver training to customs and enforcement authorities to strengthen identification and interception of counterfeit RIMOWA products.

Regional IP & Risk Management

  • Support the protection and enforcement of RIMOWA’s trademarks, designs, and other intellectual property rights across APAC.
  • Identify regional brand protection risks and provide practical recommendations to the business on appropriate mitigation and enforcement strategies.
  • Stay informed of developments in IP legislation, enforcement practices, e-commerce, and counterfeiting trends across key APAC markets.
  • Ensure regional activities are aligned with RIMOWA and LVMH global brand protection standards and strategies.

Stakeholder Management & Business Partnership

  • Work closely with RIMOWA’s IP team in Cologne and relevant LVMH Brand Protection teams to ensure alignment between global strategy and regional execution.
  • Partner with Retail, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, E-commerce and other business functions to identify potential infringements and strengthen brand protection awareness.
  • Manage relationships with external counsel, investigators, monitoring providers and other specialist vendors across APAC.
  • Provide practical guidance and training to RIMOWA teams on identifying, escalating and managing potential brand protection issues.
  • Prepare regular updates, risk assessments and reporting for regional and global senior stakeholders.

Profile

  • Degree in Law, Intellectual Property or a related discipline; legal qualification is advantageous.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in intellectual property, brand protection, anti-counterfeiting, investigations or enforcement, ideally within a regional APAC environment.
  • Strong knowledge of intellectual property and brand protection, with practical experience managing enforcement matters.
  • Experience working across multiple APAC markets and an understanding of the differing legal, regulatory and enforcement environments across the region.
  • Experience working with customs authorities, law enforcement agencies, external investigators and/or specialist IP counsel is highly desirable.
  • Experience within luxury, fashion, consumer goods or another brand-led industry would be an advantage.
