Product Specialist (Product Management)

We are hiring for the following positions:

• 1 HC: Product Specialist (Product Management) – NUC / Mini PC
• 2 HC: Product Specialist (Product Management) – Consumer Laptop

About the Role

• We are looking for commercially minded individuals who are passionate about technology, products and business to join ASUS Malaysia's Product Management team.
• As a Product Specialist, you will be responsible for managing an assigned ASUS product category — either NUC (Mini PC) or Consumer Laptop — covering product planning, market analysis, pricing, go-to-market execution, sales performance and product lifecycle management.
• This is a business and commercial product management role, rather than an engineering or product development position.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage the assigned product portfolio throughout its product lifecycle, from product introduction and launch to end-of-life planning.
• Conduct market, competitor and consumer analysis to identify market trends, customer needs and business opportunities.
• Develop product positioning and recommendations based on market requirements, competitive landscape and ASUS business strategy.
• Plan and execute go-to-market strategies for new product launches in collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Channel and other relevant teams.
• Monitor product performance including sales, market competitiveness, pricing, inventory and product mix.
• Recommend and manage product pricing based on market conditions, competitor analysis, product positioning and business objectives.
• Monitor inventory levels, product availability and sell-through performance to maintain healthy inventory turnover.
• Analyse sales and market data to identify product performance trends and areas for improvement.
• Work closely with Sales and Marketing teams on product campaigns, promotions and business programs.
• Coordinate product launch plans, program execution and performance tracking.
• Develop strong product knowledge and communicate key product positioning and value propositions to internal stakeholders and business partners.
• Identify potential business, channel and partner opportunities to support product growth.
• Prepare regular product performance analysis, reports and recommendations for management.
• Perform other product management responsibilities as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Commerce, Management, Economics, Information Technology or other relevant disciplines.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Strong interest in the PC, laptop, consumer technology and IT hardware industry.
• Commercially minded with strong interest in understanding products, customers, competitors and market trends.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret sales and market data.
• Strong business acumen and willingness to develop product and industry knowledge.
• Good communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive, independent, detail-oriented and willing to take ownership of assigned responsibilities.
• Able to work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing and other business teams.
• Good command of spoken and written English.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel; ability to work with data, reports and analysis is important.
