Retail Sales Assistant

What You’ll Do (Bullion Retail Sales)

• Welcome customers and provide a calm, premium in-store experience
• Assist customers with bullion enquiries and selection (gold/silver bars and coins)
• Explain product basics clearly and confidently (weight, purity, packaging, availability)
• Support customers through the buying process and ensure a smooth checkout
• Process transactions accurately: POS billing, cash/card payments, receipts
• Prepare and verify orders carefully (count/check items, confirm details)
• Maintain high standards for display and store presentation
• Support inventory handling: receiving stock, tagging, organizing, stock counts
• Follow daily procedures for reconciliation, documentation, and handover
• Handle customer questions politely and support basic after-sales enquiries

Requirements

• Strong customer service attitude and professional communication
• Trustworthy, responsible, and detail-oriented (accuracy is essential)
• Comfortable working in a secure retail environment with high-value items
• Basic computer skills (POS system, WhatsApp/email, simple Excel)
• Able to follow processes strictly and maintain discretion
• Able to work retail shifts including weekends when required
• Retail/cashier/customer service experience preferred (luxury retail/jewellery is a plus)

Nice to Have

• Experience with cash handling and daily reconciliation
• Experience with inventory checks and stock receiving
• Ability to speak additional languages (based on customer base)
• Interest in precious metals and premium retail standards
