Our client, a leading global organisation, is looking for a Senior UX Designer / Researcher to join an exciting AI and data-focused project. The ideal candidate will have strong UX research and design skills, with the ability to translate complex user needs into intuitive and user-friendly experiences.

In this role, you will lead user research and design workflows, wireframes and prototypes for data-heavy enterprise applications, exploring how AI-driven insights, predictions and alerts can improve user experience and decision-making. You will work closely with technical and business stakeholders to develop practical, user-centred design solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct user interviews, observations and workshops with technical and operational users.
• Translate research findings into user journeys, workflows and design solutions.
• Create wireframes and interactive prototypes using tools such as Figma.
• Design intuitive AI-assisted dashboards, predictions and alerting experiences.
• Test designs with users and collaborate with technical and business stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 5+ years of UX or product design experience.
• Strong portfolio showcasing previous UX research and design work.
• Experience designing complex, data-heavy platforms, dashboards or operational tools.
• Hands-on user research, wireframing and prototyping experience.
• Ability to work independently in an enterprise environment.
• Experience designing AI-powered products or explainable AI interfaces.
• Background in asset management, industrial operations, maintenance or mining.
• Experience with service design or workflow mapping.
