Years of Experience:

• Min 3-4 years’ experience in steel structure fabrication or similar field.
• Diploma or higher education in civil & Structural engineering, quantity surveying or similar field.
• Meticulous, analytical and eye for detail.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and tight schedules.
• Highly motivated, self-driven with initiative to work independently.
• Sound computer literacy, including advance skills in excel.
• Advance level of English, in both written and spoken.

Job Description and Requirements:

To manage the contract administration process, both pre and post tender stages:

Pre-Contract Stage:

• Review tender drawings and specification to ensure all measurements and quantities are accounted for to achieve realistic commercial value for each project.
• Prepares bill of quantities which involves quantity take-off in excel sheet, materials sourcing, measuring, and estimating material and labour costs used in the tendering process.
• Prepare tender quotations for review with management and submission to clients.

Post-Contract Stage:

• Provide procurement support during contract phase. Sourcing of local and/or overseas vendors.
• Prepare monthly progress claims, including variation orders claims.
• Monitor project budget and perform cost controlling.
• Prepare cash flow data progressively.
• Finalize project accounts/claims.

Additional Duties:

• Perform other duties and task assigned by immediate supervisor.

Salary will be commensurate with the candidate’s relevant experience, qualifications, technical skills, and overall suitability for the role. Candidates with strong relevant experience and skil sets may be considered for a higher salary.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
