Job Summary

The IPQC Inspector is responsible for monitoring and controlling product quality during the production process to ensure all products meet required specifications and quality standards before proceeding to the next stage.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform in-process inspection according to control plan and inspection standards
• Conduct first article inspection (FAI) before mass production
• Monitor production processes and ensure compliance with work instructions
• Perform patrol inspection at defined intervals
• Check product dimensions using measuring tools (vernier caliper, micrometer, gauge, etc.)
• Identify, segregate, and report non-conforming products
• Issue Non-Conformance Report (NCR) and follow up on corrective actions
• Stop production line if serious quality issues are detected
• Ensure proper usage of inspection records and documentation
• Work closely with production team to improve process quality
• Ensure adherence to quality system (ISO / IATF if applicable)

Requirements

• Minimum SPM / Diploma in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field
• At least 1–2 years experience in IPQC / QC role (preferred)
• Knowledge of quality control processes and inspection methods
• Ability to read technical drawings and specifications
• Familiar with measuring instruments
• Basic computer skills (Excel / reporting)
• Willing to work shifts
