Position: Process Engineer
Location: Perai, Penang
Salary: RM3500 - RM5000 (depending on experience and qualifications)

We are looking for a motivated and experienced NPI Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for NPI, ensuring smooth product transfer from development to manufacturing, and supporting successful product launches.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and lead Pre-NPI meetings, PFMEA meetings, DFM reviews, and post-pilot run meetings with internal teams and customers.
• Ensure NPI build schedules meet customer delivery timelines by preparing and managing the product master schedule.
• Ensure PFMEA, process flow, quality plans, and work instructions are ready before NPI builds.
• Manage and coordinate NPI builds, ensuring process observations, quality issues, abnormalities, and improvement opportunities are properly recorded and addressed.
• Prepare Pilot Run Reports and Pre-Production Reports, review root cause analyses, and drive corrective and preventive actions to closure.
• Maintain customer product files, drawings, and samples in accordance with company procedures.
• Define manufacturing and assembly processes, process cycle times, and indirect material (IDM) usage, including solder paste, solder wire, glue, RTV, potting materials, and conformal coating.
• Initiate and implement ECN/ECO activities and support effective change management.
• Lead NPI projects from product introduction through successful transition to mass production.
• Identify opportunities to improve process efficiency, cycle time, productivity, and manufacturing performance through collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
