About the role
We are looking for a hands-on HR operations specialist who builds systems rather than just running them. You will own how our global HR operations and shared services work day to day, then make them faster, cleaner and measurable using Lark, AI tools, automation and data.
This is an individual contributor role. You will work closely with the HR team across different regions, and with stakeholders in a fast-moving, global online trading business.
Key responsibilities
HR operations
- Run the full employee lifecycle across entities: onboarding, probation, transfers, promotions, contract renewals and offboarding
- Own employment contracts, HR letters, payroll inputs and employee records, with accurate data across all HR systems
- Keep operations compliant with company policy and local labour rules in each country, working with regional HR
- Coordinate with Finance, IT and Legal on operational matters
- Write, review and maintain SOPs, and standardise workflows across countries and business units
HR shared services
- Set up and run the HR service model, request intake, routing and agreed service levels (SLAs) across time zones
- Build and maintain the HR knowledge base so employees and managers can self-serve
- Handle escalated HR queries and managed recurring ones into fixes, FAQs or automations
Systems & Automation
- Administer Lark as the core HR platform: employee profiles, org structure, Approval flows, Base and Wiki
- Act as the go-to owner for the wider HR stack (HRIS, payroll and ATS), including integrations between them
- Lead or support system implementations and migrations, from requirements to go-live
- Evaluate new HR technology and recommend what to adopt
- Find manual, repetitive work and automate it with Lark Base, Automation and Approval, low-code tools, scripting or AI
- Build AI prompts, templates and assistants that speed up HR work
Data and ops performance tracking
- Design ways to measure HR operations performance: turnaround times, SLA adherence, error rates, volumes and backlog
- Build dashboards and prepare regular reports for leadership and management
- Keep HR data accurate and consistent, and run regular data-quality checks
Requirements
- Degree in Business, Information Systems, HR or a related field
- 8-12 years in HR operations, HR shared services, HRIS or people analytics
- Proven track record of automating processes and implementing or configuring HR systems; please share concrete examples
- Hands-on with Lark (Approval, Base) or a comparable workflow platform
- Strong data skills beyond Excel, such as SQL, Power BI or Tableau, Python, Power Automate or Zapier
- Uses AI tools in daily work and can show how they improved a workflow
- Experience setting up KPIs or dashboards to track operational performance
- Comfortable working independently as an individual contributor and owning outcomes end to end
- Clear communicator who can explain systems and data to non-technical stakeholders
Good to have
- Regional or global HR experience across multiple countries, entities or time zones
- Experience implementing AI solutions within HR
- Experience in a fast-paced multinational organisation
