Role Description The Data Centre Facilities Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Johor Bahru & Cyberjaya. This position oversees the day-to-day operation of data centre facilities, including monitoring building systems, power, cooling, and environmental controls to ensure continuous uptime. The supervisor coordinates and schedules equipment maintenance, manages vendors and service providers, and ensures compliance with safety and operational standards. The role involves supervising on-site facilities staff, maintaining accurate records of inspections and incidents, and implementing preventive maintenance plans. The supervisor also works closely with internal stakeholders to support capacity planning, respond to facility-related issues, and contribute to improvement initiatives for data centre reliability and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong supervisory skills, including team leadership, task allocation, and performance monitoring.
• Candidates should possess equipment maintenance skills, including troubleshooting, coordinating repairs, and implementing preventive maintenance.
• Candidates should possess facility management and facilities operations skills, including oversight of building systems, safety procedures, and vendor management.
• Candidates should possess effective communication skills for coordinating with internal teams, external vendors, and reporting to management.
• Relevant experience in data centre facilities, industrial facilities, or critical infrastructure environments is beneficial.
• Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems used in data centres is an advantage.
• Familiarity with safety regulations, risk management, and emergency response procedures is preferred.
• Diploma or degree in engineering, facilities management, or a related.
